See Green Drain in Action
Watch how waterless trap seal technology protects buildings from sewer gas, pathogens, odors, and pests. From 60-second installation demos to real-world applications in hospitals, restaurants, and commercial facilities.
How to Install a Green Drain Waterless Trap Seal
The complete Green Drain installation process from start to finish. No plumber, no adhesives, no pipe modifications. The only tool you may need is a screwdriver to remove the drain grate screws. The drop-in itself takes under 60 seconds.
The video shows a GD2 (2-inch) being installed into a standing shower floor drain, but the process is identical for all 8 sizes. Unscrew the grate, drop the Green Drain into the pipe, and replace the grate. The one-way silicone valve seats itself automatically.
Designed for both new construction and retrofit, Green Drain drops into any existing drain body without modifying plumbing. Facility staff can install hundreds of units across a building in a single day. Once installed, it blocks sewer gas, odors, pathogens, and pests while allowing normal water flow.

Pathogen Blocking Technology
Green Drain's one-way silicone valve creates a physical barrier against pathogen transmission through drain lines. Independent SGS testing confirmed greater than 99.9% viral aerosol blockage.
Healthcare SolutionsWhy Every Restaurant Needs a Green Drain
Floor drains in commercial kitchens are a common entry point for drain flies, cockroaches, and sewer odors. See Green Drain blocking pests and foul smells at the source while maintaining full drainage during washdowns.
Restaurant SolutionsProtection Against Pathogens, Odors, Gases, and Pests
The four threats that enter buildings through unprotected floor drains: sewer gases, foul odors, disease-causing pathogens, and pests. Green Drain's one-way valve blocks all four while allowing normal water flow.
How Green Drain WorksSustainable Drain Technology
Traditional trap seals rely on a water barrier that must be constantly replenished. Green Drain eliminates this dependency with a mechanical silicone valve that requires no water to maintain its seal, saving water and reducing maintenance labor.
